After one million years of serving my children, I decided it was time for them to start serving each other.
Felix came to me and said "I needa dink."
So I said "Hey Linus...you are up. Get your baby brother a drink."
He dutifully left the room and came back.
With a vintage, GLASS, martini shaker. Full of lukewarm water.
Now unless he was trying teach his brother the proper way to mix a Tom Collins, I didn't think this was going to work.
"It was the only glass that was clean."
I then explain that sometimes you have to use soap and water to clean dirty dishes. That this was not out of the range of his ability.
I sent him back.
He returned with a sippy cup full of luke warm water. With no lid.
These sippy cups have a GIANT lip on them that make it next to impossible to drink out of them like a normal glass.
"Find the lid. And put some ice in there!'
Who said it was easier to have someone else do it?
